Splits don’t increase or decrease value. Subsequent trading does. If you have $10,000 worth of stock after the split you will still have $10,000 worth of stock.

The bad effects on share price that follows splits is usually contained to pink sheets as most of those traders are novice unsophisticated traders.

Definition of stupid: Knowing the truth, seeing evidence of the truth, but still believing the lie.
