The original play was based purely on hype and momentum: the stock was hyped by some front-loaders who also gave it the appearance of buying interest. Players jumped in based solely on the trading action and false insinuation that this was a coronavirus play without doing any dd.
The opposite is now in effect. The momentum is gone (unless you consider the downward price direction), those promoting it have moved on, and the dd is readily available. Traders with money don't try to catch a falling knife, especially when there is absolutely zero underlying value.
Granted, one can gain 500% on a good trade, and can only lose 100% on a bad one. This is a bad one for certain unless you can get lucky and pawn it off on a bigger sucker.
