Health experts issued an ominous warning about a coronavirus pandemic 3 months ago. Their simulation showed it could kill 65 million people.

The WHO didn't identify this outbreak until Dec 31st some weeks after the original outbreak in Wuhan occurred. This outbreak has had time to spread outside of Wuhan before containment procedures were first implemented weeks later. This virus can significantly impact tourism (airlines, hotels, restaurants), commerce, etc, and hence all the fully or fairly priced equity markets. Hopefully it doesn't play out like a pandemic modeled in the article link above.
