This seems to be the initial theory that most had, that is are some/many too severe to make significant strides OR would it perhaps take longer than the 11 weeks of treatment for it to benefit them?

Yes next trial might focus on more moderate but depending on trial length, I still might not rule out severe patients if they run a second cycle of the drug. I hate to say it but we really need a trial probably twice the size and twice as long to reduce the placebo impact that may or may not be obscuring some of the efficacy. Either way, very pleased it looks like bryostatin will live on as it continues to show improvements in a significant number of patients. Once again we are talking about bettering scores and not managing decline. JMHO
