I was talking with a friend of mine who is in the opinion that canopy’s delay of their beverage line is due to inventory build up rather than not being ready. That they want to be able to hit the market with enough product to hit every corner at the same time without running out. Most of the competition has not figured out shelf stable formulas yet. Why would Canopy put out a limited number that would be choked off by supply and chopped off by the number of stores available while allowing the competition to get their hands on their product and their formula. Waiting allows them to hit the market at saturation without giving up much because the competitors are not quite there yet. Just a thought, I liked it.
