John 12:25-26

"He who loves his life will lose it, and he who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life. 26 If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor."

I never really understood this passage, maybe some of you are like me.....This morning I learned something and now I understand this passage and thought I would pass it on, to folks like me. Here we fine 2 different Greek words for "LIFE"-----the 1st is "psuche"----this refers to our present life in this world---mind, desires, and will----think on our material side of us. ---The 2nd Greek word used for "LIFE" is "Zoe"-----Zoe refers to life everlasting----If our main focus is on "psuche" the here and now and we allow our wants and desires to control our daily living we miss out on what God wants for us to have in the Spiritual realm-----Now !!! I came by this by reading and studying, by asking God to grant me wisdom and understanding----In Scripture we never stop learning new stuff---amazing
