funindasun,

"There are 31.75 gallons in 1 ton of water" from my searching. It does vary by weight of the product.

"There are 31.75 gallons in 1 ton of water. A ton is equal to 2,000 pounds and each gallon is composed of 8.33 pounds; a gallon measures the amount of liquid volume of a substance while a ton measures the true weight of a substance. To find the amount of gallons that are in a ton of water, it is important to note how many pounds are in a gallon."

I suspect it is going to take several tons of IVIG. 1.5 tons IVIG would only be 47.62 gallons of liquid. If hsIVIG is 200 times more effective that might do. Less effective it might take more.

I do note, in reading, that IVIG half life is 36 days. 36 months if stored at 2-8 degrees C.or 35.6F to 46.4F

That issue is going to need to be addressed by Momenta or a partner as 36 days is not a long time as distribution will be nationwide or country wide. Think distribution distances in China or Russia or other big countries with poor road systems.

I hope they are thinking about that now.
