ALRIGHT !!! Allow me to kick your ole brain in gear this a.m.-----Reading from John 10:27-30 and Jesus says---"My sheep hear my voice and I know them, and they follow me. And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Fathers hand."

I have generally thought of entering eternal life at my earthly death........but thinking on the above passage from John once I or we accept Jesus Christ as our personal savior we instantly then receive eternal life. Jesus goes on to assure us that no one can ever snatch us away. I have read from Paul's writings something very similar. This sort of ties into 1 John 2: 1-2. We have said many, many times that we all sin & fall way short, but reading and understanding the Scriptures should teach each of us that we are only human, no one is perfect, we all error, but if we have accepted Jesus Christ into our hearts then in the end all is well.
