The technologies are different as they rely on a hardware piece inside the vehicle. There is no listing of any patents on the websites for Data. Best practice is to show a Patent section on the website to protect the IP. This co has telematics for each driving trip that will show driving information to the user, parent, employer, insurance company, etc. They have multiple patents on their technology and it works on all smartphones or tablet devices without the need for any hardware. Get it! NO Hardware!!!!!

This is Golden and will put the other companies out of business! I'd be worried if I were them!
