I'm no expert, but I believe that if you look at the drugs currently approved for psoriasis which are taken internally they're both expensive, and they have some side effects that prevent many people from even trying them. Certainly not everyone who tries these drugs gets the side effects, and those that do have them to different degrees, but my point is that many choose not to take them at any cost.

I believe a cream, even if less effective, that has few or no negative side effects will be well accepted by the market, and even insurance companies will be pleased with it if their cost is no greater than what they're currently paying.

I don't know if it's possible, but suspect that if Phase 2 data is strong enough, some regulatory authorities may approve the cream without requiring a Phase 3. I cannot say the U.S. FDA will be one of them, but even if only Israel made it available at first I believe it's use would rapidly grow as other regulators saw the benefits. Of course the key is the cream working, we should have an idea about that as they won't go into the blinded portion of the trial is benefits aren't seen in the initial part of the trial.
