mostly because its a shit show, with crooks around every corner


and no real help from the SEC (they are too busy watching porn)


mm's rob us every day

shorting
naked shorting
deceptive orders
wash trading
HFT's
and on and on....


the market makers get free reign to do basically whatever they want under the guise of "making a market"

TOTAL and UTTER BS
