UEX Corp. (UEX.T) reported results from the final 11 drill holes of the summer/fall 2006 exploration program at its Horseshoe deposit in northern Saskatchewan.
UEX, a Vancouver uranium-exploration company, said the results included, in hole HU-22, 0.39% U3O8 over 38.97 meters from 208.52 meters to 247.49 meters, including 1.19% U3O8 over 3.01 meters and 1.37% U3O8 over 4.62 meters, and, in hole HU-24, 0.20% U3O8 over 36.30 meters from 307.50 meters to 343.80 meters, including 0.36% U3O8 over 11.30 meters.
The company said HU-22 and HU-24 extend the Horseshoe mineralization defined by the previously reported intersection in hole HU-16 of 12.35 meters grading 4.53% U3O8 to an adjacent section 60 meters to the northeast into an area outside the known historical resource.
It added: "HU-16 and HU-22 are the best holes ever reported from Raven- Horseshoe."
The Raven and Horseshoe deposits are within UEX's 100%-owned Hidden Bay project.
