TNW Wireless a laughing stock!
Amusing submission to the CRTC by TNW WIreless Inc. though won't do anything for them. The content and the intent truly show out out of touch TNW Wireless and UAMA management is with the wireless industry. Expect the CRTC will identify some old arguments and react the same way they did last year at this time when they rejected TNW's submissions. This time though it's only part of comments that will essentially form the basis for regulations to encourage MVNOs in Canada. Good for the industry and good for consumers. However, everyone understands that TNW Wireless may not be a bona fide wireless carrier any longer as their cellular network is/was INOPERATIVE. They are not even listed on the GSMA website indicating they haven't paid their annual dues. Further search shows NO DOMESTIC ROAMING AGREEMENTS with any carrier in Canada. NO ROAMING AGREEMENTS with any US carriers despite inheriting signed, executed agreements with AT&T, Sprint PCS, T-Mobile and Verizon covering 320 million US subscribers. TNW has no subscribers, no roaming agreements and NO REVENUE. Further, it is highly likely they have received a Letter of Licence Revocation from ISED Canada as the cellular network is down in violation of terms of Spectrum Licence.
