According to our CFO, Golden Leaf Holdings is focused on creating products and not grow operations. In Canada it cost more to grow cannabis then it was selling for on the open market. By liquidating in Canada they will be able to actually turn a profit. At first I was shocked at what transpired but it makes sense if the products ( oils, chews, CBD products ) make more revenue than an ounce of weed. Supplying products to existing dispensaries will increase gross revenue without the added cost of retail outlets and the licenses required to operate those outlets.
