The “AI” controlled coils in the motor eliminate the need for the gearbox all together. The original developer had his eureka moment while working on wind farms. The gearboxes in large generation mills is ridiculously expensive and cumbersome.
The thing that gets me going is the AI aspect and the planting seeds with the smaller deals and proofs of concept. What’s this going to be worth when they get some big players on board. All motor manufacturers will want a piece of this or they’ll be behind the curve.
