How does all preferred "protect" against an adverse SCOTUS ruling?
Oh, wait, it doesnt.
Yes, it can be bad..but it would be bad for both the common and prefered.
There is a good chance its better for the commons than the preferreds, and this is "why" the commons outperformed the preferreds by a wide margin in 2019.

There is "one" senario where the preferreds are "protected":

"In your own mind only".
Of course, if you think wearing a green shirt will "protect" you in a car accident, then wear one. But it isnt gonna really protect you, except in your own mind.
