Do we know if that is actually true though, that if product X is used by any hospital in the UK it is used by all of them? I feel more comfortable knowing what socialized medicine means for the consumer than for the provider. Could it be true that socialized medicine doesn’t impact providers the same way it does consumers and individual hospitals could still have some discretion in what products or hardware they use in their facility?
