Capt...thanks for the link. I feel sure at this point that I'll be going with the TREX. How do you feel about the knock off brands?

He did tell me he was planning on using wolmanized (sp) lumber for the trusses and joints.

Hidden clips? Fastner holes? Am I out of my depth or what?? Never heard of that but I'll dang sure toss it in there very casual-like when I talk to the contractor again...by the time we're through just the talking stage, he's gonna think I know my stuff!
