I'm not a trader so this stuff is over my head, but the price prior to the halt had been worked up to $4.24 from a pre-market finish of around $3.30. AMEX may have been concerned that all the orders were on the buy side (even though they weren't large....volume for the day was only 266.54k) and things were getting a little out of hand. Sure enough it opened back up around $3.60.

Why would you expect anything other than "Odd" around here? Some investors may have misread the S-1 Effectiveness declaration. Again.
