Yes, it's all about managing risk. I took a starter soon after the merger 8-k was posted, without doing much DD. Risky, but sometimes if you wait too long you can miss a big move. But as I started doing DD things did not add up. If they had added up I would have added to my position. Instead I bailed with a small loss.
Of course, I don't know the future. Maybe I'm wrong and will miss a run up, but it is way too risky for me at this point.
