In general you are right that it is undervalued, but 3 dollars cash does not give the stock a three dollar value. They also have the obligation to pay back the bond with interest in the future. That obligation is greater in the future than the current cash. So, that does not change the situation. The stock should be valued on what they they will do with the cash. Although we have all heard various things, there is no official announcement yet.

While I also believe the company will be worth far more in the future, the three dollars per share in cash when it gets there will be offset by an obligation so doesn't imply a pps of three dollars.
