Novo. Be sure to get at least one bid, preferrably 2 more.
Don't sign for a few days. Go over each bid carefully.
Make sure they all contain the same thing in each bid you want. If you have questions call them until you fully understand. Until then don't go forward.
There are no dumb questions. There is dumb people though who don't ask questions when they don't understand the process who down the road wish they would have forgot their pride and asked.
Make sure you understand the process and feel you can communicate good with the contractor. Check his license and bond. Ask for his most recent referrals.
Key word here is RECENT! Ask if he has recent client you can go see there work.
If a contractor gives you the sign now pressure crap show him the door.
