I learned this from a customer of mine who also sells through the Amazon Prime system. This means by putting his stock in a Amazon warehouse, so that Amazon handles the complete logistics and shipping of the orders.
But before you can do this, Amazon will ask authorisation from the brand (= Last Shot) to stock their products. And they go back to the initial registrant of the brand, in this case Liquid Health Labs (correct me if i'm wrong ).
There could have been an issue a few months ago.
To explain by an example : my company distributes a Lebanese brand of tableware. My German customer wants to sell it under Prime label on Amazon Europe and they get authorisation from the Lebanese brand to do so. But for Amazon it's not enough. They need approval from the Original registrant of the brand. And they didn't ask the Lebanese owner for this approval, but they ask it at a company somewhere in Spain, who was the first registrant of this brand, many years ago. It already takes 2 months now and still it's not arranged yet.
So that was already the first issue Mo had with Amazon, i guess.
The second point is the stock system from Amazon.
When you want to send goods to the central stock of Amazon, you first need to announce it ( type of products + quantities ). Then they send you special barcode labels to put on the products and then you know where you have to ship the products to.
From Belgium this is mostly somewhere in Germany, but that is just a temporary storage.
Because Amazon will decide, after they've received the goods, in which of their logistic hubs they will put them. My customer's goods ended up partly in Poland, Italy and France. In total it takes between 3 and 4 weeks to get your stock appear on Amazon after you've shipped them out of your warehouse, because of this complicated system.
So therefore we get more or less the same periods here with Last Shot.
The above is based on my customer's experience with Amazon here in Western Europe. I think i can say that their system will not be very different in the US, since they work similar on a global scale.
And i hope it can clear up a bit why some simple things for outsiders, can be so complicated when you have to deal with it.
I wish you all the best with your investments and i'm convinced that Last Shot will have a bright future as a product.
I hope that 2020 will be the year !
Kind regards from Belgium !
