I may be misunderstanding your post but chapter 13 and 15 are not “interchangeable”. Besides the fact that chapter 13 is for individuals , it allows for “wage earners” to formulate a plan to repay back part of a debt(s) aka “consumer proposal”. Chapter 15 (only added in 2005) is solely to recognize other countries jurisdictions as the world we have today is multinational in nature. .Chapter 11 is a REORGANIZATION bankruptcy.

Moving right along. Did you say it was discharged? Hmmmmm here is what it says about chapter 11 discharge.(I’ve provided link below. It’s highlighted in yellow at the top)as well as the differences between chapters

“For business debtors, Section 1141(d)(1) generally provides that confirmation of a reorganization plan discharges a debtor from any debt that arose before the date of confirmation. “
