For one, if you are thinking about getting paid because you own shares of BIOA(Q), you might want to rethink that since stocks are considered debt not assets and no one bid on the debts... in other words, no one bought the stock to take advantage of the NOLS. Maybe they have enough that they did not need to take on more debt than is projected.

This is the most common problem for shareholders since they expected some sort of compensation for their investment. However, money was at risk when you buy the stock in a company since that is used for expenses to see if it can produce revenue or gain. That is the sole purpose of selling shares... you invest in a company. Sometimes you win, but most of the time, we lose.
