serious question; "they are shorting against a supply"? Who is the They? How can an individual short CYDY? It's not a stock that you can buy on margin. If not in a margin account its against all laws for a Broker Firm to loan your shares to a possible short seller.

Check your account agreements.

Meaning the only individual shorts out there are naked shorts. Again; who or what type of trader can short this puppy?

Only legal shorts I can consider would be a market maker. The ability to absorb risk would be the limits on size.
