The real answer is that there is a limit of what you can sell/buy with some retirement/ira accounts. Why such a low amount (10,000) you may ask? Well if youre trading the big boards like most people using these accounts, 10,000 shares is actually a large investment.

You will see these sizes being traded a lot. Must be a real pain but these folk are avoiding fees so they arent paying 5 bucks each sell.
