Holy crap, I cannot believe that anybody still does not understand how completely wrong that "average" is! And how deliberately misleading that Mexus PR was that issued that "average" assay result.
According to the map that was issued, it appears that Argo drilled across every mapped geologic structure on the property that they could find, and they also tested potential disseminated mineralization surrounding those structures. They did exactly what a junior exploration company should have done!
Those "intercepts" that were averaged together represent a few feet in most cases, of incredibly low-grade material along those structures. You simply cannot justify averaging those intercepts together to obtain a single average grade.
There is no evidence whatsoever of any continuity of the geology or mineralization between most of those drill holes. That is exactly why Argo bailed out, the results were beyond miserable.
PT sure fooled a lot of people with that press release - SMH.
Do your own research, use third-party sources, and don't buy into the hype.
