I never liked them either, I believe if a person wants to leave they should be able too.

Most people don't know what to do with the information they attain anyways.

The reason I do them now is because of the training I give. The company I have my non competes on is a top 50 company in it's field. We gross 10's of millions a year and it took me a long time to get to that point.

I do things much smarter than most of my competitors which is why I don't want someone coming to work for me and taking my knowledge then leave after a few months.

I look at the non competes as a cost for the education. After two years they can do as they please.

The business world is cut throat to say the least. I believe I'm a good person but it's hard to be a "good" person in business and also not be taken advantage of.
