My understanding of LiveDAO and LiveChain

According to the whitepaper, LiveDAO is composed of two components:

Cloud side (content freedom + content right protection + clearing transparency) + Fog side (content freedom + low bandwidth cost + low server cost) = LiveDAO (new generation streaming platform)

The cloud side is a decentralized distributed live streaming system and a public chain named LiveChain, which is based on BTF-DPOS consensus algorithm. This decentralized distributed live streaming system makes content private distribution possible.

LiveChain is considered to be the carrier for flow of assets and implementation vehicle for rules which guarantee the fairness of reward and punishment for all participating members.

The cloud side also has a complete clearing and settlement system to ensure that assets have high liquidity and availability.

According to the whitepaper, the LiveDAO cloud side is built by a team from the USA.

The fog side is the application and integration of P2P technology in LiveDAO system. It utilizes the the 5G cellular network structure to dramatically reduce the bandwidth cost.

The fog side is developed by a Ukraine team. The team representative Geo gave a presentation at the 2019 world blockchain and digital technology conference in Chengdu, China on November 10, 2019.

Combining clod side and fog side, LiveDAO can achieve complete decentralized operation and governance of live streaming.
