Who knows why he left, personal issue could be he was fired and agree we will probably never know. Is the company going in a new direction and his dermatology expertise just ran out doesn't fit anymore with the company's focus on internal problems. His connection to Pfizer never panned out as far as a deal. What's interesting now is the new hires expertise. A specialist in internal medicine would be a good fit. They are interviewing in January so trying to fill the position quickly.
