I'm disappointed in the Senate and their actions on this. I know these amendments predominantly affect marijuana but we're unfortunately tied to them in the market.
Stripping these from the bill puts us further behind. McConnell talking big did not deliver. It turns out Schumer was responsible for the CBD-fda amendment in the spending bill, ironic given it will help McConnell more than him and he has the most to gain should Republicans lose the majority.
The Senate only passed 77 bills through November, on track for the lowest in any year ever. I guess it was overly optimistic to believe they would do anything for CBD/hemp/cannabis.
