From a more optimistic view, I think IIPR is a solid growth type of investment vehicle. If using the internet boom as an analogy. Everything that had "Dot-com" was going up back then, I lived through it...no matter the actual business model. Then the bubble burst. Only the real/actual business models survived. I think this is pretty much were the MJ/cannabis market is now in general and still has all kinds of obstacles to get over. But irregardless, IIPR will be here for the long run. And those invested at these levels will be well rewarded decades down the line. The entire Cannabis market would have to dry-up if IIPR was to completely fail. Outside of any scandals and such. As long as IIPR's management do their DD on these proprieties it will continue to grow. Obviously, these properties need to be able to pay their bills over the life of their lease.
