A study of this magnitude should be scientifically homogenized.

That is to say, somebody like MD Anderson should go out and oversee and calibrate all the equipment and review the procedures of all participating institutions - everywhere... so that the science is bench-marked on equal footing.

Go back in time and look, see if we did not hire MD Anderson to do that, in fact.

Point being, you don't want to run a crap-shoot study with some standards here differing from those over there.
