“The California Marijuana Legal Regulations Initiative (#19-0010 and #19-0011) may appear on the ballot in California as an initiated state statute on November 3, 2020.

The ballot measure would prohibit criminal or civil penalties for the possession, cultivation, transportation, distribution, use, or consumption of cannabis, hemp, and marijuana. The ballot measure would also de-schedule medicinal marijuana under state law and prohibit law enforcement from using funds to assist federal marijuana-related laws, among other provisions.”
