Really? This is already understood....for some time now actually. The whole purpose behind Ripple building xrapid was to get around the whole regulation issue so XRP could be used. The demand was there but regulation was the problem so Ripple figured a way around the regulation issue where companies don’t have to hold XRP in order to use it. Why? For its utility! I mean does anyone pay attention to these milestones or does everyone just focus on what’s happening with the price? Will banks, remittance companies and institutions hold XRP? YES! Once regulation is complete they will begin holding XRP. Until then it cannot happen but the day is coming when they will be able too and is almost here.
