That's debatable. The CEO is not without some fault here. As the director and producer he is there to protect the crew. Just starting production on an under funded ultra low indie film is not doing him or shareholders any favors. When they found out the film didn't qualify for State Incentives, they should have pulled the plug until the money was in the bank.

What about the begging and hospice part... Is there someone else to blame for that?
