Sure. Also, Marinus had gotten to a critical part of its research after hitting phase #2 milestones back in Sept., where it needed cash to complete phase #3. The announcement of this successful sale and private placement takes away that burden. This likely contributed to short covering this morning on the news. You also probably noted that Marinus did not announce any kind of reverse split to go along with this sale today. This likely means Marinus expects their new buyers will be able to support a share price high enough to take a NASDAQ delisting off the table. Marinus is now a buy!
