ATIS owns that IP through the 80% stake of JVco.

The patents were issued by the patent office to Greenshift. They haven't assigned them to anyone else. Even though another company, not identified by a Greenshift 8-K, owns the class G shares that represent a clear majority of Greenshift's shareholder votes, it is the Greenshift Corporation that owns the patents. That is why they, and not Attis or JVco. filed the original lawsuit against two dozen defendants.
