Could be. The last piece I really have to say at this point is that the company didn’t have to put out a “clarification,” but they did. They knew how everyone would react here, and that it wouldn’t look good at all for them. But they still chose to say something.

If the claims that these guys have been scammers for years is true, then they’d have been in jail a long time ago. Be weary of conjecture and hyperbole. Question the sources of information, question the information, and of course, do question the company. Good luck!
