FNMAM is a totally "ILLIQUID" - "ZERO VOLUME" issue = NO $SALE$

some people who KNOW how to invest actually understand DEAD SHARES

FNMAM dollar volume on Nov 27: $3,571,860
FNMA dollar volume on Nov 27: $4,064,760

I would hardly call that dead.

I will admit that this is an outlier for FNMAM, but there are dozens of pref series. Their combined dollar volume, while less than FNMA/FMCC and FNMAS/FMCKJ, is still enough to exit a sufficiently diversified illiquid pref stake of ~$1M or lower in just a few days. Every pref series I follow has had at least one day of dollar volume exceeding $100,000 in the last month.

If one prioritizes being able to get out quickly, that implies an expectation of possible extreme price drops. Is that why you care about liquidity?
