Well that is the wrong technique, investors will never get a position of any size by playing dick the donkey.
If you want a real position to hold on to for any length of time and make really large returns on investment then hit the ask with a position size equal to the total volume of the day before.
Unfortunately this place is infested with lunch box traders in and out for a penny or two gain on a $50. trade. ( what a waste of time that is, they never last)
