I was under the impression that they had found a different way and would avoid the consolidation. Obviously mistaken.

This consolidation seems drastic to me. The share count will be reduced to about 25 million. With most consolidations the stock price drops, at least initially, although it will hopefully recover soon. We will have to see. With the shelf registration, the number of shares could increase again, If some big deals are planned.
