Why I'm invested here:
You know, all of us invested with Progressive Care are primarily here to make money, either short or long-term. I just thought I would take a few moments to reveal what some of my reasons are beyond the potential monetary gain.
First, I'm a psychotherapist and I've seen firsthand how opioids have impacted our society on an individual and community level. This company has made a real effort in not only calling out the crisis but in addition, they have implemented strategies to help healthcare professionals find alternatives to these addictive medications.
Secondly, have you ever noticed the company's pictures? They hire people from all races and ethnicities. This diversification in hiring is not only good for the company from a business standpoint but it points to their awareness of equality and inclusiveness. Their awareness of our changing demographics and the need to have a diverse workforce is important to me.
Finally, this company gives back to and cares about the communities they serve. This Thanksgiving, they are giving away turkeys to the less fortunate in their neighborhoods. It may not be a life changing event but it shows they care about those less fortunate than themselves.
As we approach the holidays, I have much to be thankful for; my family, friends, and job. I'm also thankful for the opportunity to be involved with a company that actually cares about their customers, communities and yes shareholders. I don't spend a lot of time worrying about daily trading or charts. I know this company is doing things the right way, and in the end, the company and those associated with them will be rewarded for their efforts.
