For Christ sakes, this is a merger guys! I suppose the previous owners are liquidating their shares under the pretense "sell it or lose it."

Mergers are excellent vehicle to capitalize in the market and this will be one. More than likely the previous owners got to sell off their shares before being cancelled and get nothing at all. Something is better than nothing, hence the large volume today.
97.2M thus far traded on the day with 1/2 hr left before the close. I suspect this will go lower until the shares are sold off, then we will see a massive rebound into penny land. Multi pennies on a lower share structure.
