Nice looking job, and it looks very solidly built! We've been using 2x2s and chicken wire to keep the cats out, which worked on the bed we put in this year. The bed beside the garage will be relocated around the corner where the yard is more level, (adjacent to the greenhouse) and we will be turning the yard around the greenhouse into a meadow. We'll take Monty Don's advice and scalp the yard close, rake it, and will sew in Yellow Rattle along with the meadow seed we are also going to be sewing into the same area. Yellow Rattle is a hemi parasitic against the spread of grass which gives other flowers a chance to grow. Gardener's World this year had several shows about cultivating meadows for pollinating insects. A meadow will help the hive we found in the yard when we were restructuring the landscaping.
