NO! Read the many online complaints and BBB complaints.

Ridgid power tools require purchaser to register online after buying tool, and it is a lifetime warranty. And as many have posted, trying to get them to honor warranty, you get runaround and then also told your data is not showing on your system, irregardless you show receipts, time, date of doing so and the damn purchase...

DeWalt does not do this, and Milwaukee which we own many tools, automatically registers any power tool you purchase at time of sale. Same with Bosch, etc...

Regardless, Home Depot owning Ridgid now, SHOULD NOT be charging any contractor an assessment fee to look at tool, before they then contact Ridgid corporate for their decision to honor said warranty or not. That is ludicrous and more wasted time for any business owner depending on said tool.

NEVER had such a pisspoor experience with any company or its product and false statements and warranties as Home Depot with Ridgid Power Tools! I am a 40 year construction industry veteran and expert, and we posses dozens of various top notch tools, but the only 2 Ridgid tools we have left are Ceramic tile saw and belt sander and after that, no longer will EVER purchase any Ridgid power tool again.

Milwaukee, Bosch, DeWalt and such better quality made tools all honor warranties without excuses, gimmicks, runaround, and care about Licensed Tradesmen and such who depend on them for their living. Not Ridgid and not Home Depot...
