It takes thousands of dollars to bring the company current. Accounting fees, lawyers, etc. The ones that are scam usually are not current. They don't spend that much money unless it's serious business.

Oh yes they do. Telco has made millions selling worthless stock in this scam over the years. The mining scam, wonder watch scam, phone scam, Microtech scam, rolling paper scam you name it they make money on scams.
