“Costs and expenses applicable to revenues”. It appears that expenses related to the acquisitions in the period were removed in order to answer the line item.

Perhaps your understanding isn’t as firm. Maybe? I don’t know.

I also find it hard to believe the SEC would post information that hadn’t been reviewed or accepted without glaring warnings for investors not to rely on the information. That would be so beyond the pale for an agency that expends so much effort protecting investors.
