There really has been a war on coal for a good 12-15 years and
It has taken 3 years after Trumps deregulation for the EPA to release the new ACE RULE and pass the Senate that legally allows each state to decide what technology they choose to use for their own energy interests! Climate activists lobbied to have majority Congress to repeal the Trump Administrations new EPA-Ace Rule that promotes Clean Coal technologies like CCTI that reduces carbon emissions and footprint. The Majority Congress does not really want anything that helps coal industry grow. They only want solar and wind power which only makes up 2% of total global energy produced and consumed at moment. Investors want to invest into coal energy market and resurrect. Investors hands were tied before under previous administration because regulations were choking off coal producers and coal plants. The only challenges faced now is the judicial courts and (Sierra club) environmentalists funded by Soros who lobby and tell politicians to vote no to everything related to coal. They know that if they can block coal industry any way they can from expanding including Blocking trade with Asia-Blocking permits for export facility's , Our government or current administration would be forced to give them trillions of dollars to build infrastructure for their Solar and wind projects. Its all about controlling the markets by manipulating industry. They want to rape hundreds of thousands of nature filled landscapes to install super sized battery islands! to store electricity from (windmills that kill millions of birds a year). Lobbyists are now trying to decap big banks at the knee caps that provide loans and invest in coal projects. These are Soros global elite funding groups like Sierra Club that you mentioned who also who want to sell the world their climate change formally known as AKA-Global Warming. Wyoming has fuel (Coal) a fuel source already made so they don't have to create a new energy source or infrastructure, Just upgrade it by adding Clean Coal technology. More efficient and cleaner to transport and burn and dust free. It is at surface levels so no drilling or dangerous tunnels! It is surface dredged with bucket loaders. Like Oil producers refine raw crude oil, Coal can now be refined into a cleaner , more efficient, lower emission energy fuel source which can be equally competitive and affordable than deep mining operations and much safer for our coal workers because they are working above ground mostly.
